The College of Agriculture/Peony College of Henan University of Science and Technology boasts comprehensive practical teaching facilities, serving as the core base for conducting agricultural practical training.



The college has an experimental teaching center and a teaching practice farm, with a laboratory spanning approximately 1,289 square meters. It is equipped with over 800 instruments and equipment, including atomic absorption spectrophotometers, photosynthesis measurement systems, and PCR machines, with a total value exceeding 4 million yuan.



The platform primarily undertakes experimental teaching and scientific research training in fields such as agronomy, bioscience, and smart agriculture, providing students with practical opportunities in plant cultivation, breeding, physiological ecology, and other related areas.



The team has long been dedicated to researching precision planting equipment for vegetable seedlings, encompassing efficient vegetable transplanting and precise seeding of staple crops.



The team has developed a mechanized planting system for vegetables that covers the entire process from sowing, seedling cultivation, transplanting to harvesting. This system integrates technologies such as environmental control and precision farming, achieving a high degree of automation. It is not limited by climate or space, significantly enhancing production capacity.
